Managing the Risks of IT Outsourcing

Ian Tho, Managing the Risks of IT Outsourcing
Butterworth-Heinemann | ISBN: 0750665742 | 2005 | PDF | 224 pages | 1.61 MB

Buyers or suppliers of IT outsourcing services are constantly tormented by the prospect of having to deal with the vicissitudes of risks in their projects. The Aryabhatiya of Aryabhata: An Ancient Indian Work on Mathematics and Astronomy

Translated by Walter Eugene Clark, The Aryabhatiya of Aryabhata: An Ancient Indian Work on Mathematics and Astronomy
Kessinger Publishing | ISBN 1425485995 | 2006 | DjVu | 3 MB | 123 pages

In 1874 Kern published at Leiden a text called the Aryabhatiya which claims to be the work of Aryabhata, and which gives the date of the birth of the author as 476 A.D. If these claims can be substantiated and if the whole work is genuine, the
text is the earliest preserved Indian mathematics and astronomical text bearing the name of an individual author, the earliest Indian text to deal specifically with mathematics and the earliest preserved astronomical text from the third or scientific period of Indian astronomy. The aim of this work is to give a complete translation of the Aryabhatiya with
references to some of the most important parallel passages which may be of assistance for further study. Walter Eugene Clark is Professor of Sanskrit in Harvard University.
